October is a wonderful time of year to visit the west coast of Florida. The weather is fantastic, calm and pleasant! There’s always something fun to do in our area! There are plenty of pumpkin patch festivals that have been traditions for decades. You can also attend the many exciting Halloween events. They all celebrate the fall season with shows, events and fun activities for the entire family. It is a great experience if you visit them with children. Relax and get into the Fall spirit in the Gulf Coast of Florida!

- Come enjoy the festivities at the 28th Annual Pumpkin Festival at Hunsader Farms in Bradenton, one of Floridas largest! Celebrate the harvest and Halloween season with live music, pumpkins, games, pony rides, food and much more! Fun for the entire family.

Featuring costume contests, pie-eating contests, face-painting, local vendors, hayrides, goat-hugs, and more! Come celebrate Fall! Free admission and free parking. The Farmer’s Market will be open, and the food trucks will be rotating in and out.

Feel like a night out on the town this Halloween?
- On October 29 beginning at 6:00 PM attend the Annual Halloween Block Party outside the Gator Club in downtown Sarasota. Win cash and prizes for the best Halloween costumes!
The Gator Club, 1490 Main Street, Sarasota, FL 34236 - On October 31 from 5:30-9:30 PM get tickets to the Halloween Costume Party Bar Crawl which begins at Marina Jack, 2 Marina Plaza, Sarasota, FL 34236. Other establishments that are participating include Daiquiri Deck in South Siesta Key, Gulf Gate Village, and the Weston Hotel rooftop. Costumes are highly recommended!
