Magnolia Breeze

The magnolia breeze in a little gem. Located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood, the beautiful nature surrounding it made it quite peaceful. House is well equipped and was very clean. The pool and backyard living area are the best kept secrets of this house, it’s where you will want to spend most of your time! Beaches are a 15 minute drive and many grocery stores very close to the house. We did run into a few problems but Jon, the handy man was quick to respond (within 30 minutes he was at the house!).
Highly recommend, would stay there again !

Really great house with everything you could possibly want or need during your stay! Games, great cable selection, DVD, books... Lots of options for eating, poolside, kitchen, or separate dining area. The pool was clean and very private. House backs to a nice water area with damn that provides a very relaxing outdoor experience. The primary bedroom is huge with walk-in closet and a nicely updated bath. Nice quiet neighborhood close to everything. Definitely would stay here again.

As a first time Airbnb user, I wanted to make sure that our first stay was somewhere my family and I felt 110% safe in.
Beyond that, we also searched for a place that would entertain the whole family.
Stefan’s place was perfect for this!
The private pool was a lovely spot and the kiddos made great use of all the toys and games that Stefan had.
We were surprised by how fully stocked the bathrooms were— my family particularly appreciated the after-sun products (it definitely helped us enjoy the all-day beach adventures a bit more).
The outdoor patio was gorgeous!
Many of our game nights were held there and the kids thoroughly enjoyed having breakfast out there too.
Really, I couldn’t have picked a better place for us.
It was a wonderful first-time experience!

"Perfect Location!"

This home was centrally located to all the area attractions! We visited Siesta Key Beach, Lido Beach, St. Armand’s Circle, the Botanical Gardens, and the Mote Aquarium during our visit. The pictures in the listing are accurate. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the pool area! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our traditional Christmas dinner. We were minutes away from Yoder’s… an amazing spot to eat! Their homemade bread was yummy! Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was just as pictured, fully stocked, clean and spacious. IF you pay extra to have the pool heated, it’s warm and worth it. The pool was clean. Keyless lock (coded lock) made leaving & entering easy. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving week away from home. Thank you

"Relaxing!!"

Our recent stay was lovely. The home was clean and welcoming. The outdoor patio was inviting and relaxing and we spent most of our time there. The amenities were as advertised and a glitch in the WI FI was quickly corrected by the property owner. Close to beaches and downtown. The only downfall was the mattress in the master bedroom, it was very uncomfortable, recommend replacing it. I would highly recommend this property!

My family really enjoyed this rental. It was perfect for the 5 of us. The pool was really nice to come back to and relax. Loved walking through this neighborhood as it is so different than Iowa! It was a short drive to the amazing Siesta Key Beach. The garage had a cooler and beach chairs which was a plus. We did leave our beach wagon and boogie boards behind for the next guests:) The property manager was great to work with and so helpful. Very clean, lovely home! Definitely recommend

"Wonderful getaway"

The property was spotless and very well stocked with everything we could have wanted. Private pool area and lanai was great for relaxing after a long day of adventure. Easy access to Beaches, Mote, and restaurants. Love this area and really enjoyed the house. Would definately recommend and stay there again.

"Magnolia Breeze April 2021"

The property was neat, clean, and well furnished. The beds were very comfortable, although the bed in the master bedroom could be a little challenging to get into for older and shorter people due to the height of the mattress/boxspring combination. Definitely not a deal breaker and we managed using a stepstool in the closet. The heights of the beds in the other bedrooms were fine. There were plenty of clean pillows, sheets, and other furnishings. All of the appliances worked perfectly, and the kitchen was fully stocked with a good selection of silverware, plates, cups, etc. We opted to have the pool heating turned on and did not regret this decision as the water temperature was uniformly comfortable every day. The temperature was in the mid-80's during the day so it is possible the water might have been OK without the heater but there's no way for us to know. Overall, we would definitely stay there again should we return to Sarasota.

Our choice to drive 24 hours to be on vacation resulted in exactly the place we needed to relax. The place was a great size for our family to be able to work/distance learn al while enjoying a pool, close beaches and sunsets.

We stayed for two weeks and any needs we had we brought to Stefan and he took great care of us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Magnolia Breeze. Communication with the owner was great before arrival and during our stay. The home was even more spacious than anticipated and had everything we needed. The pool was well loved by our 3 kids. They even had beach chairs and a bag we were able to use for our time exploring. We had a very relaxed vacation and were pleased with our choice to stay here.

We totally enjoyed our stay. Loved having the private pool to relax by. Very quiet neighborhood. Added feature we didn’t expected were to hear the many birds, watch the turtles sun bathe and the antics of the tiny lawn lizards!

Excellent location-close to everything including the beach! Loved the pool with the side entrances so sand didn’t have to be tracked indoors. Property was clean-only issue was ants on the bathroom and bedroom door frames. We enjoyed our stay 🙂

"Fantastic house"

This house was nearly perfect for our family of 5. The main issue we had was a sliding door that wouldn't lock and management handled it immediately. The kitchen was stocked with all of the needed cooking utensils, pans, pots, etc. There was a propane and a spare for the bbq pit. The decor was nice and clean feeling.

If you have small children, there is no pool fencing and the pool deck itself is somewhat narrow in places. There is also NO RAILING for the pool steps and that was a little scary. I also wished the living room had a bit more "family seating" such as a small sectional or something. It was hard to have a family movie night with all 5 of us.

The other small issue is that the bedroom with the twin beds and the queen bedroom was much hotter than the rest of the house. Luckily there are fans in each bedroom and in the living room. However, my 2 children in the twin room were constantly hot in their room and my other child was a little hot in the back bedroom.

The master was perfect and COLD! The living, dinning, and kitchen all kept very cool. The AC unit is a bit old and made noises and struggled to keep a constant temp during the peak of the day. Everyday it was 77, 76, 75 degrees. when it was set for 74. It was in the 90's when we stayed there and yes Florida heat is very real.

I wished we could have actually parked the car in the garage to keep it cooler, however the trash cans and other storage was kept inside.

I was somewhat confused/annoyed about the check in process of us having to physically go to the management company. However, since the sliding door would not lock when we arrived on Friday afternoon management came Sat. and collected my check in form and looked at my ID.

These are just observations and comments. Overall this home was a very nice place and we would consider staying there again next year.

House was very comfortable and lots of amenities. Water pressure in hall bathroom was very low. Had issues with blowing a fuse and lost internet but quickly remedied. Patio door from kitchen to pool was very difficult to lock. Would stay here again!

We stayed at Gulfcoast Holiday Home for 5 nights in Nov. 2019. House was perfectly located for our visit as relatives live on next street. Home was well furnished, beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed.

"Fantastic Villa, excellent layout and facilities"

This was a gorgeous villa and we really did not want to leave at the end of our stay. Very well furnished and laid out. Particularly liked the covered outdoor lounge area. Pool was very good and just the right temperature. Nice and quiet street. Lovely to watch the birds and turtles in the river at the back of the property. No complaints about the fixtures and fittings. Well thought out touches like ceiling fans in most rooms, ice making fridge, beach chairs and sun shades, pool toys. Would book again. Stefan was very well organised and a detailed information folder was present in the villa, answering all the questions that you may have.

Booked this property online and the process was seamless.

Property is as it is in the pictures; modern, spotlessly clean and well equipped.

It is in good location; residential street about 1.5 miles to nearest Wallmart, 500mts to liquor store and some clothing stores like TJ Max. There are plenty of restaurants in local area; some able to walk to others a few miles 2-5 depending on what you want so good location.

It is about 5 miles to Siesta Key Village (where rentals much dearer) so we drove in or caught Uber which was about $16 each way.

Loads of gulf coast beaches in proximity and about 25 minute drive to outlets at Ellenton or 15 to University Mall

House has washing machine and dryer and good tv networks and wi-fi. Neighbourhood really quiet.

In July pool got the sun ALL day, we had queried same with the leasing agent as images show couple big trees outside pool area but they do not impact on sun bathing by pool.

Beds REALLY comfortable.

Only things I think that could improve it would be a pool table or fuss-ball table in garage, supply a large cool box for beach and maybe xbox or PlayStation to entertain kids at night (ours were missing them after a 3 week holiday).

We as a family of 5 truly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful house and it had everything we needed inside to make our stay very easy and very comfortable. It was a short drive to Siesta Key beach too which was very nice. We would definitely stay again and we suggest to everyone!

We enjoyed our stay at Southgate! Booking was simple, Stefan was fantastic to work with, very timely responding to questions. The house was perfect for our family, providing everything you could need and more! It was great to have toys for both the pool and the beach provided. Lovely accommodations, beautifully updated (except the bathrooms, they were functional, but slightly outdated). Exceptional space! We are already looking forward to coming back next year!

"Wonderful stay in a lovely house"

The house was in a good and clean condition and the neighborhood was great and very quite. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed the evenings outside under the patio roof. The only thing if any would need to be a good wet clean of the outside patio floor with the rim between the patio and pool area.
We will definitly come again and looking forward to staying again in this pretty house in which we had a relaxing time.

Great house! Amazing location! The house is close to everything, shopping 5 min, Downtown 10 min and famous Siesta Beach is just 15 min drive. Its well equipped with all necessary household items and very clean. The lanai area with pool and bar is the best! However, if you want to feel comfortably in the pool, get ready to pay $20+ a day extra for the pool heating.

Stayed just short of 2 weeks at the Magnolia Breeze property, it’s a great location you are close to everywhere 15 minutes from the beautiful Siesta Key beach and also Downtown. It’s a safe residential area. Stefan is really helpful and I would recommend this company.

Our family of four had a wonderfully relaxing time here. The house is airy, spacious and comfortable. It has just been renovated so everything is clean and new. The kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed eating on the terrace and checking out the birds & turtles in the creek that runs along edge of the garden. Short drive to Siesta Key with lots of fun activities for the kids. Highly recommended!

This was a wonderful house for my family to stay in. We had a great time and the house fulfilled all of our needs. The decor was very tasteful and everything looked really clean and new. Something you don't always find in a rental. Loved that we could sit at the kitchen table and watch the turtles sunning themselves in the stream at the back of the house. We saw lots of birds wading in it too.

The pool area was wonderful with lots of pool toys and we spent a lot of time outside. I would not hesitate to recommend this vacation rental.

"Lovely villa and ideal spot to explore Florida’s west coast"

We had a great break at this 3 bedroom villa, which has a lovely pool and is really well located for the restaurants, beaches and amenities of Sarasota and surrounds. Everything in the house seems brand new and all the rooms have been very tastefully decorated, plus there are 3 TVs and lots of channels to keep the kids entertained! It's just under three miles to Siesta Key, close to the beach and there is local shopping and eating at the nearby malls or it's about a 20 minute drive to downtown Sarasota and the barrier islands. It's also a good base to explore the coast.

"Great property for family vacation."

We booked this house because it looked so nice in the pictures and we really wanted a pool. We were four adults, so it was much cheaper than two hotel rooms and lots more space than a hotel room. The house was amazing and looked even nicer and much bigger in real life. The owners have really gone out of their way to make the home as comfortable as possible for their guests. The TV had Hulu and Netflix already set up which was a nice touch. There were three large brand new TVs. These had all of the on demand channels you could possibly want. I'm used to staying in places with tiny TVs,which very often don't work, have limited channels or poor picture quality. So it was nice to have such a large choice on a big screen with a decent picture. But the best part of the house was the outdoor area and pool which was fantastic. It was big enough for the whole family to enjoy and also had lots of pool toys for the kids to play with. We had no kids with us but still enjoyed the pool toys regardless : ) There was plenty of comfortable seating in the shade as well as loungers you could lie on in the sun. Loved the bar and it got a lot of use!
We were unsure of what the location would be like, but we were really very, very happy with the location. We could be at the beach, downtown at a restaurant, at the movies or shopping all within 10 minutes. We were centrally located for everything. This was perfect as were planning on spending lots of time at the beach, but we had a lot of rain and it was so wonderful to have so many other things such as Ringling and Downtown so close to the house.
I would recommend this house to couples and families.

"Fabulous!"

This house blew us away. I can’t believe we got such a wonderful property for less than a Hotel Room! This house is amazing. I wish my house was half as nice as this! It had everything we needed, plus 3 great bedrooms and a wonderful pool and outdoor area. Also it was really close to the beach and the movie theater and lovely restaurants were literally 5 min away. We are going to book another trip to Sarasota in November and we will definitely be staying here again!
